The Compatible Data Initiative aims to foster interoperable data among digital humanities projects mapping historical networks of individuals. Currently we are focused on 20th century intellectual, literary and artistic communities. We launched our work in 2011 with the generous support of the
National Endowment for the Humanities Office of Digital Humanities. Projects currently included in the consortium include
The Crowded Page,
Yaddo Circles, and
Linked Jazz. For more information, contact comp.db.project [at] gmail [dot] com.
